Khrystal Jones is proud to serve as the Principal of Brownsville Elementary School. She brings a deep commitment to students, families, and educators, and believes that every scholar deserves an excellent education, strong relationships, and a school community where they feel known, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.
Throughout her career in education, Khrystal has had the opportunity to serve in a variety of instructional and leadership roles, including classroom teacher, instructional coach, and Academic Dean. These experiences shaped her belief that strong schools are built through high expectations, thoughtful instruction, strong relationships, and a commitment to continuous growth.
As principal, Khrystal is focused on building a school culture rooted in excellence, collective responsibility, and joy. She believes that when educators work together, families are true partners, and scholars are given both the support and challenge they need, students can accomplish extraordinary things.
She is passionate about developing teachers and leaders, creating strong family partnerships, and ensuring that every scholar has what they need to thrive academically and personally. She is committed to building a Brownsville Elementary community where scholars are excited to come to school each day and where every member of our community feels a sense of belonging and pride.
Outside of school, Khrystal enjoys spending time with her family and making memories with her loved ones. She is excited to partner with Brownsville families and looks forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and success.
