About Achievement First Linden Middle School

Achievement First Linden Middle School is a public charter school located in Brooklyn, NY near the New Lots and East New York neighborhood. Serving students in 5th through 8th grade, our teachers encourage a love of learning through enriching educational opportunities designed to set our students up for success later in life. We are proud to offer a safe and personal non-profit charter school option for families throughout Brooklyn.

    Stephanie Blieka

    Stephanie Blieka is the Principal at Achievement First Linden Middle School. After graduating with a B.S. in the Teaching of English Grades 7-12 from New York University, Ms. Blieka started her career in education in New York City Public Schools in the Bronx and East Harlem before moving into the charter sector in Harlem for nine years. Ms. Blieka started her teaching career as a founding English Language Arts teacher for grades 5-8. Her students performed in the top 20 in the State of New York on the 2015 6th Grade ELA exam, and on the 2018 NYS 6th Grade ELA Exam, 100% of her scholars received a proficient score with 70% of them scoring an advanced Level 4. Ms. Blieka also served as an Assistant Principal and Principal before transitioning to Achievement First. As an Assistant Principal, Ms. Blieka led her scholars to achieve a pass rate of 98% passing on the 2019 NYS US History Regents Exam, with 40% of scholars scoring higher than an 85%. Ms. Blieka began her time at Achievement First as the Dean of Special Services at Aspire MS before transitioning to the role of Principal at Linden MS. As principal, Ms. Blieka strives to pass on a deep love of learning to all of her scholars, and ensure that they have the skills and the passion to succeed beyond in high school and beyond.
