Five years ago, Remi’s daughter Solliat was adjusting to life at AF Endeavor Middle. She finally started there in fifth grade, after Remi enrolled her in so many public charter school lotteries, he lost count. Today, she’s a sophomore at AF Brooklyn High. She is taking AP classes, and she just completed an internship at a medical facility. Every day she has a new idea of a career she might want to pursue. For Remi, the best part of being an AF parent is watching Solliat and her brother Aamin, an AF Endeavor Middle eighth grader, develop the confidence and independence to forge their own paths.
