When Ida’s daughter was ready for kindergarten, she wasn’t sure where to send her and decided to give Achievement First a try. She has been so impressed by the dedicated teachers, she’s also transferred her three sons to Elm City College Prep. Her daughter is excelling academically, and her boys are making tremendous gains. She worried one of her sons was slipping through the cracks at his old school. Here, he’s gotten more support and he’s back on track. Another son was having a hard time with behavior issues and focus. At Achievement First, he’s made a huge change in the last year—he’s showing drive in academics and sports and is becoming the leader she always knew him to be.
