There must be some kind of mistake. Summer can’t be over yet! It’s only August...oh. Yup, it’s that time of year again. Time to trade the sunscreen for schedules, flip flops for flats. And with the start of a new school year, teachers can understandably have mixed emotions. Some days, you might be downright excited! Other days, you’re just not feeling it. We get it! The transition back to #teacherlife can be bumpy. The early mornings, the sensible shoes, the tote bags. It’s not always glamorous. But come on, people. You got this! Because the truth is, for every day when the copier is jammed and things goes south and you’re feeling: There are so many days when you get a hundred hugs, your lessons go perfectly, you watch kids engaged in a book, and you see how much your work really matters. Then you’re all: Because teaching is hard, but it’s also everything. So, to our AF teachers, the best of the best. Welcome home.
