  • Application and Hiring Process

    • What can you expect when you’re applying for a job with us? We want to make the process as seamless as possible, so while the specifics can vary from person to person, here’s an overview:
      • Apply: We accept applications on a rolling basis, and our recruitment team responds to all completed applications within 2-3 business days.
      • Phone Interview: Selected applicants will participate in a phone interview with a member of our recruitment team. This call will focus on your previous experience and the content of your application. Please check your SPAM/JUNK email folders.
      • Guest Lesson & In-Person Interview: After the phone interview, some applicants will be invited to interview with one of our schools in Connecticut, Brooklyn or Rhode Island. Due to COVID-19, interviews are currently taking place virtually via video conference. We’ll be looking for your ability to lead a 15-30 minute guest lesson, and we’ll want to see your classroom management instincts, your overall teacher personality and lesson delivery. After the lesson, you’ll reflect with school-based faculty and the recruitment team.
      • Reference Check: A member of our recruitment team will request and contact your references during the Finalist interview stage. We will notify you before contacting any of your references. You will be asked to provide a current or previous manager or supervisor reference. We will not be able to move forward with an offer until this is received. Please ensure your manager/supervisor reference is notified proactively and ready to complete their reference for you in a timely manner.
