Thank you for your interest in our Achievement First (AF) Bridgeport Academy schools (grades K-8th) or our AF Amistad High School (grades 9th-12th)! The lottery enrollment period for our 2026-2027 school year is now closed.
Lottery
The 2026-2027 Lottery for our school for Bridgeport residents will run on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 6 p.m. via Zoom. All Bridgeport applicants who submitted a lottery application by the March 31, 2026 application deadline will receive an email/text with the Zoom information prior to the lottery. Lottery attendance has no bearing on lottery placement. Once the lottery runs you will receive your lottery or waitlist placement by email/text, and be able to check your SchoolMint for your application status and lottery results.
Important Information:
- Students must be Bridgeport residents to apply to the lottery/waitlist for our AF Bridgeport schools.
- To enter kindergarten in the 2026-2027 school year, students must turn five years old by 9/01/2026. Students who turn five years old on 9/02/2026 through 12/31/2026 must participate in our kindergarten-readiness assessment to determine eligibility for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Students entering grades K-4 can apply for AF Bridgeport Academy Elementary, 655 Stillman Ave., Bridgeport, CT.
- Students entering grades 5-8 can apply for AF Bridgeport Academy Middle, 529 Noble Ave., Bridgeport, CT.
- Bridgeport students entering grades 9-11 can also apply for AF Amistad High School, 580 Dixwell Ave., New Haven, CT using the link above.
